Nigeria vs Liberia game will be officiated by a Togo referee.



FIFA has named Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe, a Togolese official, as the referee for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualification match between Nigeria and Liberia on Friday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos. 
Attiogbe will be assisted on the lines by compatriots Komlan Domenyo Adiwotso (assistant referee 1), Limna Kabassima (assistant referee 2), and Yelebodom Gado Bodjona on the first day of the match between the Super Eagles and the Lone Stars, which kicks off at 5 p.m. Nigeria time (fourth official). 

The match officials are slated to arrive in Lagos on Wednesday, while the Lone Star delegation will arrive on Tuesday. 
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will face the Cape Verde Blue Sharks on match day two at the 5,000-capacity Estádio Municipal Adérito Sena on the island of Mindelo. 
The match will take place on Tuesday, September 7th, with the Super Eagles flying out of Lagos on a chartered jet on Monday, September 6th, then returning to Nigeria immediately thereafter.
