Kanye West and Drake's long-running rivalry appears to have escalated to a new level.
In his verse on Trippie Redd's song "Betrayal," Drake looked to take jabs at Kanye.
Drake sings, "All these fools I'm beefin' that I barely know / Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go / Ye ain't changin' shit for me, it's set in stone."
Drake appears to be referencing to Kanye West's tendency to change the release date for his next album Donda on a regular basis. Rumors have claimed that they are waiting for each other to release their albums so that they can release them on the same day, resulting in a chart fight.
Kanye took to Instagram hours after the song was released to show a snapshot of a text message he sent to an eight-person thread. The rapper added Pusha T to the chain before sending his letter.
Kanye shared a picture of Joaquin Phoenix in the role of the Joker. He went on to say, "This is what I live for. My entire life has been ruined by nerd ass jock n—-as like you. You will never be able to recover. I guarantee it."
In the thread, there is a "D" contact who appears to be Drake.
There's a significant update on Kanye's love life in other Kanye news.
