Kendrick Lamar's decision to release an album along with Kanye West's and Drake's albums has sparked outrage on Twitter.

"It's crazy how one verse could fuck up the game," Kendrick Lamar rapped on 2015's "Hood Politics," and now, six years later, he has the whole music industry going crazy with one simple social media post. The message encouraged fans to go to oklama.com, where they found an emotional open letter announcing Kendrick's fifth studio album, which also happens to be his final TDE release.

Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith has since commented on K. Dot's impending departure from TDE, and the split appears to be amicable based on both his and Kendrick's public statements. As a result, fans have taken to Twitter to express their enthusiasm for a new Kendrick Lamar album and reflect on TDE's end of an era.

Kendrick Lamar's next album is one of the most anticipated albums of the year, so naturally, the focus turned from Kendrick's exciting announcement to the fact that Kanye West and Drake's long-awaited projects have yet to be released. There have been reports for the past month that Kanye has been tinkering with the release date for DONDA in an attempt to outshine Drake's Certified Lover Boy, but it now appears that there will be a three-way battle between Hip-top Hop's names.

As a result, fans are mocking Drake and Kanye for allowing things to reach this point, with many arguing that Kendrick Lamar's impending album is all that counts now. Take a look at some of the Twitter responses below.
