21 Savage spoke about the importance of artists owning their masters on Gillie Da King and Wallo's Million Dollaz Worth Of Game podcast.
“Before I signed my [first] deal, I had a platinum album,” 21 stated. “Right now, I am the owner of my masters. I own every song you've ever heard. My label and I agreed to a 70/30 share. I make more money from album sales than I do from live performances. The majority of rappers' earnings come from touring.”
It's not the first time the 28-year-old rapper has flaunted his masters' ownership. 21 leveraged a deal with L.A.
