Liberian Female Singers Launches Support Group

Have you seen gender stats in the music industry? If not check them out, and be prepared to be upset.

The gender gap in the music industry clearly exists and is clearly a problem world wide. It can be scary entering an industry with such a clear gender gap, but we can’t let that stop us from pursuing careers in what we love. With women constantly fighting for equality, a group of Liberian female musicians have organized a support system under the name FASS (Female Artist Support System).

The group has one goal--support women in the music industry.

FASS is created about a month ago, starting with ten members strong, including Bernice Blackie, Faithvonic, Tialae Ticker, Snoti, CY, Bea Kadi, Baroe, Berenice Mulubah and more.

If you are wanting to work in the music industry, FASS is a great way to get involved and network with other ladies in the industry.
