Full Moon in Aquarius Packs Unexpected Intensity— Self Care Tips

Hold on tight, because the full moon is currently in Aquarius, and has a rebellious energy that may bring about sudden and unusual events that challenge each of us to take action. The moon in the air sign of Aquarius (representing collective society, unique individuality, and social responsibility), while the sun is in the opposing fire sign of Leo(representing the heart, creativity, and self-expression).

These cosmic events  form a challenging T-square aspect with the sun and Uranus in Taurus. As the planetary ruler of Aquarius, Uranus is a cosmic trigger for change and liberation. So during this full-moon moment, we will collectively realize what is restricting our freedom and what is no longer in alignment.

In the midst of this chaotic energy, there’s an opportunity for healing, given that the full moon makes a harmonious sextile connection with the asteroid Chiron, in Aries. Chiron is an ancient archetype representing a journey of self-healing, so this aspect asks us to honor our needs and take action to shift and transform our lives for the better.

But the specific area of life in which this energy will manifest for you depends on where you have Taurus, Aquarius, and Leo in your own natal chart.

So, take care of yourself. Here are few self care tips.

Self-awareness is healing for you. Pray for clarity of mind. Write down your thoughts after your session, and review the notes to bring you awareness of any limiting beliefs that come through so you can change them.

Nurture yourself. Plan a relaxing hike, bike ride, or pray for God to rise your vibration and connect with nature. This will calm your nerves and help you prepare for the energies that lay ahead.

When balanced, your throat chakra (throat energy center) enables you to speak your truth. Create a list of 11 positive “I am” affirmations and read them out loud to yourself in the mirror.

Embrace going with the flow during this chaotic time. Be still and know that God is God.  This helps to detox, soothe, and calm the mind, body, and spirit.

Listen to relaxing music to lift your mood and boost creativity. Play all your favorite music and have a quiet session to just be.

The cousins, who are now in their late twenties and early thirties, have established themselves as important citizens of Jefferson City.  Two young Liberian natives, Kumba Brewer and Candy Wright moved to Jefferson City, MO as teenagers, few years ago. The cousins who are now in their late 20’s and early 30’s, have become prominent members of Jefferson City.  It was July of 2021 when the young cousins stood in their store anticipating their first customer to walk in. After many weeks of ordering, doing inventory and stocking, they were able to cut the ribbon at Essence Beauty Supply Store, located at 431 E McCarthy Street. The grand opening is defying statistics because ethnic beauty supply stores like theirs    are not typically Black-owned, but profits are driven primarily from the Black community. The owners say there’s a need for more Black-owned establishments, and ...
